Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) to manage, maintain, and support Oracle databases in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.


Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
• Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot database issues and performance problems.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, and database security.
• Support database patching and upgrades.
• Monitor database health and resolve production incidents.
• Work with application, infrastructure, and development teams to support business applications.
• Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA .
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL .
• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery using RMAN .
• Experience with database performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle database installation, upgrades, and patching.
• Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and high-availability concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting production database issues.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
