At this time, Sol-Ark is unable to consider candidates on OPT, H1B or CPT status.We are seeking an experienced Automated QA Tester with 5+ years of professional experience in automated testing of software products. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-based software applications through the development and execution of automated test scripts and frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, DevOps, and Product Management to design and implement test strategies that support our rapid development cycles and continuous delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality test automation solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain automated test scripts for cloud-based web applications, APIs, and backend services. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and Customer Support to define and execute test strategies. Design and implement end-to-end, integration, regression, performance, and smoke tests using modern test frameworks. Maintain and improve CI/CD test pipelines for automated deployments and testing. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira. Analyze test results, provide feedback, and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner. Write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and QA documentation. Monitor system logs, metrics, and cloud environments to validate reliability and performance under load.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited US University. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Programming languages: Experience with Python or similar. API testing: Familiarity with tools such as pytest and Postman CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools. Cloud platforms: Knowledge of AWS, especially around test environments, containers, and infrastructure behavior. Version control: Proficiency with Git and branching workflows.Desired QualificationsExperience in testing software for real-time control applications. Experience in testing UI/UX software. Experience with API testing. Experience in database testing. Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. Experience with AI. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch).
